help about HillClimber Algorithm

Hi
I need to learn more about the function updateCache of the algorithm HillClimber
as it mentioned it update the cache due to change of parent set of a node
i need to know more information about this update and what can be change
exactly in the cache that's mean which nodes will be used to make this change
