O2XDA pda synching with Meeting Maker version 7.5.0 (12)

Dear MMXP Talk,

I would greatly appreciate your advice;

Can you please advise if the pda: O2 XDA Atom Pocket PC & GSM Mobile Phone,
will sync with Meeting Maker version 7.5.0 (12)

No, it won't. Only PalmOS devices will sync with Meeting Maker.

There is an add-on solution (Intellisync, at extra cost) which will sync 
some PocketPC devices. However, that PDA uses Windows Mobile 5.0, and I 
don't think that's supported. We're unlikely to see further development of 
Intellisync for MM 7.5.

Unfortunately, it's hard to find information about device compatibility on 
the MM web site.

Ian is correct.

The O2 XDA will not sync with Meeting Maker 7.5.0.

Meeting Maker 7.5 client support syncing with Palm OS based PDAs that use
Palm Desktop 3.1 - 4.x. The Intellisync for Meeting Maker add-on supports
syncing to Outlook (2000 - 2003 sp1), Blackberry (Desktop 3.2.1 - 3.9.x,
Desktop 4.x is not supported), and Pocket PC / WinCE using Activesync 3.x.

The Intellisync for Meeting Maker Add-on for Meeting Maker 8.5 supports the
same devices as the earlier version. Meeting Maker 8.5.x client supports
syncing with Palm OS based PDAs that use Palm Desktop 4.x - 5.x as long as
the PDA itself does not use Palm's new NVFS memory & file architecture. The
only two NVFS Palm PDAs that we currently support are the Tungsten T5 and
Treo 650.

We are currently waiting for a new Intellisync for Meeting Maker client
version from the OEM provider to support Windows Mobile 5.0. Once we receive
the new client we will be putting together a new release of Intellisync for
Meeting Maker 8.5. The OEM provider has informed us that the new client will
not be compatable with the older revision of their toolkit which was used to
build Intellisync for Meeting Maker for 7.5 so we will not be able to update
the 7.5 version.
