Hello,

Could somebody please take a look to see whether the following warning is issued by Squirrel? If it is, why does Squirrel issue the message? The JCC driver is JDBC4 compliant.

Hi Anurag,

Could somebody in your team follow up to see whether there is anything else need to be done on JCC side?  Thanks!

Huaxin,
I didn't hear back if you were going to contact Squirrel to determine the cause of this Version Mismatch window when using JCC to connect to a DB2 for i server?

JCC driver is JDBC4 compliant.  Could you please ask  Squirrel why they issue error for us?

Any ideas why the JCC driver would only be doing this behavior for DB2 for i server thru Squirrel?

The warning is reported by SQLSquirrel (can be disabled). I do not get the feedback in SQLSquirrel when connect to LUW 10.1, 9.7 etc nor Z 10 etc with the same driver.

It is interesting that while my license jar looks old that no message surfaces when I connect to Z or LUW only I.

Hi Nigel,

Are you sure that you are using JCC driver? Could it be possible that you are using the iSeries JDBC driver?

Huaxin,
Nigel from Cognos is using the JCC driver to connect to a DB2 for i server.  This connection is generating the following JDBC Version Mismatch status window below.  Do you know what would cause that behavior?
