Tried it. Checking the "Force" option does nothing whatsoever. Perhaps that's the bug?

Addendum: setting the global "Force" option in the options window doesn't work. For copying dialogs there is no "Force" option.

I've read the relevant code now and "Force" isn't used by copy, although I
thought it was.  Maybe I should make it behave like that as there is
currently no way to not have to confirm overwrites (except for the "New"
option when the source is newer).

That would be very useful. It's something I had problems with
too.
