amd64 problems

Today on irc some player (specing1) claimed to me that when he played on cpu with 32 bit processor he had no problems with globulation, but on amd64 he had many asserts/seg faults and was failing at the end of first mission of tutorial.

Like:

23:46 specing Settings::load("preferences.txt") : error, can't open file.
23:46 specing glob2:
libgag/include/StreamBackend.h:69: virtual void
GAGCore::FileStreamBackend::write(const void*, size_t): Assertion `fp'
failed.

sounds like different versions as the mission bug was fixed in 0.9.4.5 or so.

to investigate, a version would really be neat.
