Gnome button bug fixed!

Hi all,

After several years, I finally received a notification from the Gnome
bug tracker that their 
	[Bug 56070] Can't click button after setting it sensitive.
has been fixed.

This means we can remove our get-pointer-and-generate-an-event code if
the Gtk version is at least 2.14.
