[Announce] PyPoppler 0.8.0

I am pleased to announce version 0.8.0 of the Python bindings for Poppler.

It is available at:
http://www.gnome.org/~gianmt/pypoppler-0.8.0.tar.gz

The above location is temporary, until I will find a nice house for
future releases.

What's new:
===========
o Fix a couple of bugs in the demo, thanks to Pablo Rodriguez
and to Ian Kanto (Gian Mario)
o Update with poppler 0.8 API. (Gian Mario)

Blurb:

Poppler[1] is a PDF rendering library based on the xpdf-3.0 code base.

PyPoppler is a wrapper which exposes the poppler API to the

Like the Poppler library itself, PyPoppler is licensed under the GNU GPL.

PyPoppler requires:

I'm afraid it only contains the GLib bindings.

Bindings for QT4 are available at
http://svn.pardus.org.tr/uludag/trunk/pypoppler-qt4/.

I hope it helps,

This one seems quite old, based on Poppler-Qt4 0.5.x (!)...

Having two sets of python bindings for poppler seems not very inteligent from
the "i don't know how bindings are done" point of view.
