F-spot crash on startup

I've just started experiencing a crash just a few seconds after I
start f-spot, without me having to do anything to it. It loads up the
interface and shows the first photos in my collection, then dies.

I'm running F-Spot 0.5.0 on Ubuntu 8.04, using gtk-sharp2-gapi,
libgli2.0-cil and libgtk2.0-cil packages all version 2.12.1-2,
downloaded from launchapd and I think originally from Debian.

I've attached the combined standard output and error from running
f-spot.
