[gpm] Intel GMA4500M video card

Please,
I cannot manage to get Brightness Control Applet working on my Acer
Extensa 5635z, with Intel GMA4500M video card and Gnome 2.30.2 .
How can I know if my hardware is supported ?

GNOME 2.30 is really old and no longer supported. Can you try with a
more modern version like 3.0 or 3.2?
