Re: libpano13-2.9.18_rc1 released

I haven't been keeping track of these things, am I right that the
IPIX US patent(s) finally expire soon or already expired?

I think this patent is bogus.
Patent 5903782, now owned by Sony, was applied for Nov 15, 1995
http://www.google.com/patents?q=5903782
Wikipedia indicates patents usually last 20 years in the US.
That would put us at Nov 15, 2015,

Hello,
COPYING now contains a copy of GPLv3 instead of GPLv2 although the
licensing has not changed (GPLv2 or later).

I think you should add a correct COPYING file to HG/svn instead of
letting automake use the default one:

Makefile.am: installing `./INSTALL'
Makefile.am: installing `./COPYING' using GNU General Public License v3 file
Makefile.am: Consider adding the COPYING file to the version control system
Makefile.am: for your code, to avoid questions about which license your project uses.

Thanks, this is because I switched machines for building the
tarball. I'll do some checks and release rc2.
