Considering the model name, this scanner is possibly compatible with
the scanjet 4300 for which a backend (niash) exists. I noticed that the
sane-project.org search engine claims that it contains a
REALTEK RTS8822BL-02A (probably based on sane-find-scanner output),
which would mean that it is NOT supported by the niash backend.

Has anyone actually opened up the scanner and checked the chip
numbers?
