IT weekly summary

Hi,

This is the summary of things discussed this week during our weekly meeting.

 - David and Ben have done tests on the data migration for auth.meego.com Bakery integration
   - most of the stuff works
   - still to test acct deletion
   - some problems in setting the hash of the pwd in LDAP

 - Still a bit uncertain if we will make it to activate auth.meego.com this week.
   - More info to follow, if nothing gets announced then we won't do it

 - We were almost migrating the accounts that had a space in the username but then Mike raised a flag that this
might be not standard procedure for websites.
   - so we decided to open a poll on mailing lists (dev and community) to understand the feelings of the community
    - David to send an email about it

 - Adam did a lot of patching last week and firmware. Fixed lots of alerts.

 - Lots of spam accounts created in meego.com 
   - Pretty sophisticated technology. 
   - We need to find a way around it.
   - Mike and Ben to look at it during the coming week
