Hi Albert

Calibration problems indicate defects on the touch screen side.
I guess you exchanged the LCD module with the touch screen.
If so the touch screen itself should not be the problem.

The other cause can be the touch screen digitizer.
Either it picks up noise from the back light inverter
or it is broken. There are filter capacitors for the touch screen.
You find them between the micro switch and the 100uF capacitor.

Hello all,

There seems to be a serious problem with my simpad: I can't recalibrate 
the screen (Windows / Linux).. in Windows the calibration screen repeats 
over-and-over again, and in Linux the calibration is totally wrong...
I've exchanged the LCD module with another one (from another simpad) and 
it keeps the same behaviour: so I think it has to do with the 
mainboard?. I've seen a message from somebody that there is maybe 2 
capacitors which can be replaced? Does somebody have more information
