ftdi - iMX25 - linux 2.6.31

Hi,

We are trying to use your libftdi on our ARM
board (iMX257). A device attached to this
board gives data <at> about 230400bps. The
linux kernel in use in 2.6.31(207g). We read
data for about 10 seconds from this device
as and when the user requests to.

Sometimes there is a data drop due to which
all packets have to be dropped due to CRC
errors. (We have a 28byte packet. Certain
times all the packets have < 28bytes in size).
 Data exchange is hex.

Could you please help us know what could be
the reason? Also, do let me know if you
would need more information in this regard.

Regards

Venkat

I would try to reproduce your problem on a x86 host system.

If the problem persists, it might a kernel, libusb or libftdi issue.

If not, it's related to your ARM system.

btw: Please no HTML mail on the list. Thanks.
