i reset the box it got stuck in the start up sequence (see below):

The config file includes/ends with :

Update the FW doesn't help.
The "reset" button nothing happens!!

Q: How can i reset the box to factory default config?

Re: SSG-5 has gone FUBAR....

Hi nn List

Thanks for all kind of suggestion how-to restore the box to FD.
But my problem is way above this.....

The box will not boot up to the login prompt!
As I'll tried to explain below the boot-up sequence it hanging after
"reading" the config from the internal flash. As you see the box is
"dead" after the last couple of "."

Unsupported command - unset interface bgroup0 port ethernet0/5

Unsupported command - unset interface bgroup0 port ethernet0/6

Unsupported command - unset interface adsl1/0 zone

Unsupported command - unset interface wireless0/0 zone

Unsupported command - set ssh enable
......................
Unsupported command - ---- Support diagnostic tunnel ----
...............
Failed command - unset admin user "support"
........... (<---- This is the last sign of life I'll get from the box)

The two LED in the from are steady Green light.

And I tried to "fix" this in a couple of ways:

- Downgrade and upgrade the S/W to/from

Re: SSG-5 has gone FUBAR....

Hi!

Did you correctly apply the FD-Sequence, i.e. pressing the reset-button until the LED turns orange,
releasing the button for 3 Seconds and then pressing it again until the LED turns RED and then releasing so
that the system actually reboots?
It's a bit tricky with the LEDs - it helps to see the console output. If you see some message about 'sequence
aborted', you made a mistake (i.e. didn't press/release the button long enough or too long).

If that doesn't help, I think the only way is to RMA the device (i.e. send it to Juniper for replacement).

HTH,
Kai
