haha. bigs ups for that one!  i needed a laugh tonight.  been trying to
learn OpenGL stuff all night and it's driving me nuts!  i never knew how
much detail was involved behind image file formats.  ugh.  i dont really
want to know either but...

so you can generate any of the 16 sounds referenced in the first  
link. However, none of the available file formats are audible on my  
Mac. I really don't need the files, but since I can't hear the  
resultant tone generated...I wonder how I could.
