Acceptable Price? was Developing replacement for AT

I'll through my hat into the ring here,
For a replacement "music only" device, with MP3, FLAC, WAV, No DRM
requirements and internet radio; no server side software required,
optical output and, web/ATTray type control, I'd consider as high as
$250 US.  For that, I would also expect ideally open source or at series
of API's available to develop 3rd party apps on.  That's my biggest
hestitation to jumping into any other products meeting my specs.

What are you targeting, realistically, in terms of price?

I have a sneaking suspicion that people on this list, even those who've
replied to you that they're interested in this project, have *vastly*
differing ideas as to what a "reasonable" price they'd be willing to
pay.
