Turba Shared Address book in AD

I wanted to tie a shared address book function into an existing active
directory structure.

Have others had success doing this sort of thing.

I'm thinking AD  wouldn't automatically let an "non-member domain"
server query though LDAP, but I've never try to query AD through
anything other than W2K GUI tools.

Any hints suggestions comments?
