    The Linux installers are all statically compiled and only need the bare minimum of required system libraries.  For Linux, they are:  libc, libm and libdl.  libX11 is loaded dynamically whenever it is present and the user chooses a graphical install, and there are probably a few other X libraries in there too, but the basic installer runs on some very old systems with very minimal requirements.

    Does that tell you what you needed?
