[kde-artists] KDE2 Window Decoration missing

Hi there,

kde-look.org doesn't have the KDE2 default window decoration which is
(for some reason) set as default for each of our 1000 KDE users.

I tried to rename (still existing) KDE1 deco to KDE2, but this didn't
help. Kwin quits running after failing to find the corresponding
lib/module.

This occurs after updating kwin to KDE 3.5.5.

Is there any chance to get hands on kde2-window-decorations?

In case you read German, also refer

Thanks

Re: [kde-artists] KDE2 Window Decoration missing [solved]

The missing decoration called "kde 2" depends on kwin3_plastik.la/so -
copying kwin3_keramik.* accordingly worked.

Now I still face a strange colored highlighting of prominent letters in
KDE 3.5 menus (red or green, colons are yellow) as to be seen in this
screenshot:

Hopefully one of you artists knows this effect and what keyword to query
bugzilla for?

Cheers
Ralf

It turns out that this "confetti" style is meant for debugging and jumps
in whenever no valid style is installed. It's a kind of fallback style.
It can be changed in ~/.qt/qtrc AFAIR.
