Hi David,
The repository is bionicmutton(http://solaris.bionicmutton.org:10001/en/index.shtml), I installed rather than built packages in a relatively random fashion - so I'm going to give it a go again just to see if there's s difference as noted in the KDE Solaris FAQ.
Warm Regards,
Warm Regards,
Spencer.

It's worth noting that KDE on solaris is buggy and doesn't work in most
situations, is there a way to structure the files on the repository to save
a user from installing a buggy installation, I'm saying this since I'm
facing issues with my opensolaris install which is giving me no joy, it's
fine for informed users to twiddle with the packages before they are
committed for distribution to save loads of time for users who are
interested in installing it on solaris, don't you think?

Spencer,
What repository are you building from? Also, which version of OpenSolaris
are you running? I've successfully built the following;
KDElibs
KDEbase
KDEpim
KDEutils
KDEnetwork
(and all it's various dependencies) on snv_b121 x86. It takes a lot of
patience.
Best Regards,
Daniel
