Import File Listing issue?

I'm trying to use Tellico to manage a few folders of mine that I stick a
LOT of work files in as I'm rolling, so I'm using a File collection. I
frequently add files to the directories, so I need to be able to
'refresh' the collection with new files. I presumed that when I select
Import File Listing, choose my path, and then select 'Merge with current
collection', the new files would be added.

Before rolling on, is that assumption correct? If not, disregard below
this paragraph and: what is a way to have a File Collection that will
continue to grow over time be 'refreshed', adding only the new files?
Choosing instead to 'Append' creates MASSIVE quantities of duplicate
entries for the existing files.

If what I'm trying to do, Import and Merge, is supposed to bring in new
files, then I have a bug in 1.3 (I can update, but I didn't see
anything in the change log that would impact this issue).

Steps to reproduce:
 - Create a File catalog
 - Import File Listing from a folder with a file in it. The file will
be brought in correctly.
 - Create a new file in that folder
 - Import File Listing, selecting to Merge. The new file will not be
listed.

Re: Import File Listing issue?

Is there a more appropriate venue to report this bug?

Re: Import File Listing issue?

No, this is it. I'm just on work travel now until the end of the week, though.

Yes.

Yup, the entry comparison was a bit screwed up with the file catalogs. I
believe I've fixed it not, so it'll be in the next release. The primary
match now is the file path.

I guess this tells me how many people actually use Tellico for file catalog
merging, since I don't think this has ever worked. :)
