Incompatibility of 2.3 and svn snaps with gcc : 4.2.4 fails too!

Hi,

I made the title pretty explicit, but perhaps I can say more: it 
compiles the compile_to_c germ ok (or so it seems), then crashes when 
trying to use it...

For 2.3, I also tried to remove the "-boost" option from C2C, and I 
changed all -Os to -O1, but I'm still waiting for the compilation to 
finish : it seems stuck on 80%...
