Optimizing queries in Haskell

Dear list,

list comprehensions and SQL-like generalized comprehensions can be used to write queries in
Haskell. Does anyone know of any work focused on optimizing such queries? A quick google didn't
show up anything meaningful.

Re: Optimizing queries in Haskell

See http://hackage.haskell.org/package/DSH. Queries generated by this library are fed through the "Pathfinder" query optimizer.
