  Don't make the symlink alex -> alex.bin because at the same time alex is
  installed as a regular file, so the next time making a symlink refuses to
  overwrite a regular file and 'make install' fails.

  Perhaps this is wrong too, I couldn't test on Win32. I don't know how it
  was supposed to work but now at least it works on Linux.
