4D Write V12.4 crash

In case someone has the same problem:

I updated our server from V12.3 to V12.4 recently.
On the next day I got a call that the client was crashing when it was creating a lengthy report with 4D Write
(stitching together several offscreen areas). Fortunately nothing else had changed except for the 4D
update so the cause was found relatively easy. Replacing the 4D Write 12.4 Plugin with the old 12.3 PlugIn
solved the crashing. So far I have heard of no further problems, so I guess it is OK to use the old Plugin with
12.4 (knocking on wood).

If anyone encounters strange crashes involving 4D Write after the update to 12.4 you now where to look.
(It may be that this affects only Clients running OS X.5.8. I could not reproduce the crash on my development
computer with OS X.6.8. The Certification matrix says that V12 is certified for 10.5.8, so it should work.)
