We have looked into this type of operation. You could use web biased
connections over the wireless network, The 4d client would not work however
you should be able to send forms using HTTP the biggest problem is screen
size if you need a lot of data entered. We utilize windows biased barcode
scanners running windows mobile 4 and 5. In our case we could not guarantee
a connection to the server so we built a standalone application using .net
and SQLCE and sync the data betwene 4d and the scanners.
