v8 compiles standalone, but not with node??

However, I can't get node to cross-compile v8. http://fastr.github.com/articles/bitbake-node.html

The problem is that it tries to execute `obj/release/mksnapshot`, but it shouldn't (since it's cross-compiled).

The error message isn't descriptive enough for me to grep through and find where the problem is occuring.

I'm just looking to be steered in the right direction.

Try removing 'snapshot=on' from wscript in Node.

Re: v8 compiles standalone, but not with node??

Thanks. It appears to be running fine.

What does that option do other than try to run the mksnapshot?

Why is it important?
