and then take the new 102 next week. Will I be certified, or
will I have to take the new 101 (again)?

Hello Ted,

You don't have to wonder with the exam upgrade, there won't be any problem.

Regards,

Eric

Re: Exam multiple answers

Hello,

with the exam upgrade are there any changes for questions with multiple
answers. Normally the number of correct answers was shown.
Or is there only written, that more answer(s) are possible?

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Reiner

Re: Exam multiple answers

Hi Reiner,

the chance is there in all exams, I think I had several questions with
more than one correct answers in all my exams. However, normally those
questions are very clear about the number of answers to choose. I would
go to my next exam without any fear of uncertainties regarding the
number of answers to choose (of course, we all are brave enough to
classify each answers as (in)correct anyway :-)

Regards,

Fabian

As a general rule, I recommend you direct such inquiries to info@...
-- each individual candidate may be under different circumstances.
lpi-discuss is a public mailing list and I don't think all individuals
would like to have their circumstances publicly discussed.

However, as Eric has already kindly responded, you should have no
problems. Your question has to do with the change in exams on July 2nd.
If you pass the 101 this week there is no need to retake it next week.
However, if you do not pass it this week and have to retake it next
week just be aware there will be some changes--so prepare appropriately.

I'd say "best of luck" but I know passing LPIC-1 has nothing to do with
"luck". Its hard work, lots of studying, skill and knowledge. So...

I wish you every success!

scott
