E-Mail Rules

Hi All,

Is there a way that I can check e-mail (like Gmail or a POP account)  
but not forward it all to my new iPhone? Like create certain filters  
so that the e-mail I wants gets to it, but not everything.

I could do this with my BlackBerry.
