As Michael says this is how Graph evaluates the function. Graph doesn't 
know that they are not conected. I plan to improve this in Graph 4.1.

You can tell Graph to do more evaluations on the function. If you enter 
a large number (for example 10000) in the Steps field in the Insert 
function dialog, the graph will look better. But the more you zoom out 
the more steps are needed to make the graph look as you expect.
