[open-axiom-devel] Windows binary - Latest version - Error 3

Hello,

Hope all is right for you!

I have tried to install OpenAxiom, the latest binary version at work.
Windows systems. Installation on a server (Windows Server 2003) on a
private network. Clients use a Windows link, they access OpenAxiom via a
set of disk available from the network (on the server). At startup
OpenAxiom stops instantaneously with the message : Error 3.

Any idea what I could do to solve or help you solving this problem?
Let me know if you have some ideas, thanks.

Greg

Re: [open-axiom-devel] Windows binary - Latest version - Error 3

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

OpenAxiom is installed on a server, the directory does not contain space
in its denomination : E:\Services\OpenAxiom. I recently deleted the
version I installed some times ago now, this was a personal version
compiled on top of SBCL. But this version was too old. It was working
nice though

Sorry, forgot one thing : OpenAxiom works if it is installed locally in
C:\OpenAxiom.
Thanks.

Hi Greg,

It is good to hear from you.

Can you tell us whether you are able to launch the AXIOMsys.exe program
from the server? If so, can you give a sample path you use to lanch it
(without having to reveal internal networking stuff.)
