oes11 and oes2 coexist

Just beginning to delve into OES11.  Have a general purpose OES1 box for retirement.  Thinking of having a
general purpose "admin" box installed as OES11, into an OES2 farm with clusters and eDir 8.8
sp-"pretty-recent".  

Are there any immediate areas of concern?   I see numerous concerns for the clusters (EVMS deprecated, for
one, no 32 bit upgrade path, for another), but nothing that leaps out at me for a single box.

     They happily coexist. Clustering with NCS always takes a bit of care.
