Just posted a snmp default route monitor. http://www.cmpublishers.com/oss/ What this does. Monitors the default route on hosts via snmp. Can alert when the def route isn't what is specified. In a dynamic routing env., can alert when a host doesn't pick a route change. Also, has a failover mode that can support redundant routers. The inspiration.
