New MultiZIlla version in the make

Just to let people know:

I have exams next year, and I won't like to fail, so that is why I
personally don't have time for MultiZilla development anymore. Other
things have popped up taking my free time.

And dad started to work with Apple, which changed everything. And we at
home are still using MultiZilla so one day soon again dad will have to
step in and fix things. He is however just trying to enjoy life, as all
you have done/are doing but this is something he never got the time for
so give him a little time and who knows ;)

Take care,

Michael

good to hear from you. Just to let you and HJ know,
there are lots of people who won't upgrade to SM 2
without multizilla. Oh well, I guess we can wait! :-)

Re: New MultiZIlla version in the make

If I knew how, I would work on it, but I don't, so I will have to develop some patience. There is absolutely nothing like Multizilla. I need SM 2.0, so I am suffering along with what I can get of Multizilla. I really miss center clicks.

Well, actually I am reading this on SM 2, but just because I thought I'd
give installing MultiZilla on SM 2 another try. No luck, though, so I'll
be back to SM 1 once this message got posted. Can't wait either...
But still: The best of luck to you and your dad. ;-)

Dear all,

just as a supplement and to keep the newsgroup alive and

still strongly hoping that there will be a solution for
MultiZilla in the new SM built . I am trying to replace
several functions in SM 2.0.* but things aren't still
really satisfying at all, at least not to compare with the
different supports incl. menues MultiZilla is providing:

as standard browser still working with SM 1.1.18.

Thanks so far.

Greetings

Re: New MultiZIlla version in the make - still waiting - it

I think that all of us are willing to accept just a port of the current release to SM 2.0+ without any thought of new features. New stuff is nice, but I and many others just need to continue to have current functionality as we go forward.

well, by not switching, you're in good company then.
I'll be sticking with SM 1.1.18 aswell. Or until I can
find a decent replacement(s). Prefbar comes close for
some things that multi had, but not all:

Re: New MultiZIlla version in the make - still waiting - it

I tried the one for SuiteRunner, with the max compatible version tweak
suggested in the thread in the forums. All I got was a "Potemkin
Village" Multizilla -- the buttons appeared in the right places but were
nonfunctional. Too bad, too.

As of right now, the "missing goodie" in SM 2.x that I'd most use MZ for
would be "open all links in new tabs on single click." Anyone know of a
new-ish add-on for 2.0.x that has that function? Tab Clicking Options
seems to want to override SeaTabX, the closebox-on-tab thing I'm also
running. So I've no idea what else to add on.

I was, for awhile, hoping that by Autumn some movement would be made
towards a MZ build for SM2. Now that I've re-read the emails I have
received from this list, I get the strongest impression that's unlikely.
