Extremadura work session in September

Hi folks,

Since we couldn't meet in April [0] (it was too short notice), we
now have another chance from 2-7 September 2008 to meet in
Extremadura and concentrate on getting vcs-pkg further.

Details are here:

  http://vcs-pkg.org/meetings/2008.09.extremadura/

I have reserved the dates in my calendar and would kindly ask you to
check out whether it would suit you too. Please add your name to the
wiki page or reply by private mail with the details if you'd want to
be part of this!

To sort out travel sponsoring (accomodation and food are sponsored
anyway), we need to act *fast*. Thus I am sending a second reminder.

The point of such a meeting would be to identify commonalities in
different VCS-based workflows, and the requirements which call for
them, and to start to define a new workflow, which adresses all
these requirements.

As such, I would love to see those with experience with
VCS-for-packaging attend. The more and the more diverse we are, the
more fruitful this meeting should be.

And a third. Unfortunately, it seems like there's not a whole lot of
interest. I bet that part of the reason is that the project still
isn't clearly defined. In part, that's surely due to my lack of time
in the past months, but on the other hand, I am actively trying not
to be a hand-holder here, so it shouldn't depend on me... :)

Anyway, with 4 Debian people, one Ubuntu person, and one person from
Gentoo who have noted their tentative interest, it seems to me that
we'll cancel again and postpone to another time...

... unless you all make a run for it within the week...
