Distilling postscript files to a PDF Orientation

I have a process that distills postscript files into a PDF.  When I use GS
9.05 the pages are all flowing the same 8.5X14 (portrait).  When I use an
older version of ghostscript 7.06 the pages flow correctly 1st page is
portrait and the second page landscape.  Does anyone know of a fix to this
issue?
