What qualities would a good case study have?

For example: How big? How well crafted? What domains? What range of standard
and external library usage?

What qualities matter to you for this project?

Re: Case Study in Java

I seem to remember a case study that Fowler had thought about including in his refactoring book, but decided
it was a little to large so he just made it available on the web. I will leave locating it to you.
