cipher_suite param support ?

Hi all,

Can somebody provide the following information.

1) Which version of syslog-ng provides support for cipher suite parameter, so that there is a possibility to configure the strong ciphers.

2) Does cipher suite parameter is available in 3.2 ?

Every 3.3 version should have it, starting from 3.3.1, but it's very
strongly recommended to use 3.3.5.

Is there any way to apply the patch under the below link to the syslog-ng version > 3.2.4 and < 3.3.0 ?

At a first read, it seems to me that everything that's needed for
cipher_suite is contained within that patch, and as such, should be
applicable to syslog-ng 3.2 with very little effort, and work.

However, I have not verified this, it's merely an informed guess.

On the other hand, the patch is very small, it's probably faster to try
and apply / port it to 3.2, than to wait for someone (me?) to confirm.
