Nothing, yet.  My hands are hot, lively, and holding on tightly, thank you.

I took that cartoon as commentary on the way WWDC 2012 has lost sight of
something very, very important because of all the people blowing smoke.

But maybe that's just me.

You're right, viewing the memorial as the punch line, so to speak,  
does focus what was otherwise a boring bit.
