Driver and BDOS

I know Driver is intended to run under MasterDos but I tried it the 
other day with BDOS and was surprised that it partially worked.

It boots up into the filemanager with windows and menus and the mouse
working. A window will come up for Floppy Drive 1 and also Floppy Drive 
2 with the name of the current BDOS record. You can close the windows as 
long as you don't try to empty the waste basket which causes a crash.
You can return to BASIC change the BDOS record and re-enter Driver with 
the keyword "Driver".

BUT there are no icons in the floppy windows so you can't start any 
programs. I imagine it has something to do with the MasterDos sub- 
directories which BDOS does not have.
Has anybody ever tried to adapt it to BDOS ?
Just curious !
