How to change system wide Latex editor?

Hi,
I have both Itexmac and Texshop in my computer. However the default program to open any .tex file is Itexmac. I want to change it for the whole system. Is there any way to do this without doing it for each file individually.
I think something using apple scripts can be done but I do not know for sure.

regards
shom

Find a .tex file in the Finder, choose File->Get Info from the menu,
then under the "Open with:" menu, select the application that you want
and click on "Change All..."
