considering using veracity

Hi,

I'm considering using veracity, here couple of questions that I have:

1) does the in-build web server have SSL support?
2) can veracity be used as cgi script with apache or other web servers?

(if not are those features planned?)

3) when will it occur in debian repos?
4) when will the hosting site be launched?

thank you,

I filed the ITP a while ago but some JavaScriptCore issues made me put
the effort on hold. I'll re-check this weekend. Sponsors willing to
pay me to do that in work hours are of course welcome :-)

I mentioned Veracity to the Assembla.com CEO half a year ago and they
looked at it but I don't know what was the outcome.

The built-in server does not have SSL support. You can use Apache to
proxy requests to it.

SSL and additional web server support is planned, though I can't yet say
when they might be available. After the next release, we'll publish a
road map that should give a better idea.

I think we have some SpiderMonkey issues to resolve before this can
happen. I'll look at this again after the release.

We're currently targeting a beta release of the hosted service in mid
June. Details on beta participation will be made available here and on
the Q&A site. Depending on the beta feedback, I expect the public
release to happen a few weeks later.

Support for SSL in the built-in server is what fossil does not have and
most probably will not have. That is why I'm looking into veracity. Its
a great news that you plan to implement it.

Thank you for your response,
