usb camera access

Hi friends,
I would like to know if kino is able to access the movie camera from the 
USB camcorder port.

I've only one laptop with Linux and this laptop haven't the firewire 
port, but the camera has the usb port...

ah, good point. I was not assuming it was a mini-DV camcorder, but
perhaps the reason you are here is precisely because it is. In that
case, we should let you (Davide) know that 99% of all mini-DV
camcorders have USB, but the video is actually not available through
the USB - only the still photos are.
