Re: presentation and request for help

I don't thnk that the single thread would be significant here. I've tested the problematic file in a virtual 32 bits linux machine with 4 cores and it doesn't crash.
After my previous post, I did some tests with a simple file than your example and it still crashing on 64 bits and not in 32 bits. I think that it is related to a bug on the get_color() member for shape like layers that gives wrong values, but I can't confirm it because when tried to reproduce the problem with the debugger it didn't occur. Notice that windows version is 32 bits.
So I reported the bug for further and later investigation, since the usage of Alpha Brighten blend mode is not so usual.
Greetings.
Carlos

Asunto: Re: [Synfig-user] presentation and request for help

Hello Carlos,

As I said in previous emails, I installed Windows Synfig. However, he has a problem with multicore processors and I have a function to Unlock the Synfig use only one core "use only a single thead." This software is very slow, but does not crash.

I was wondering if the problem is giving the synfig Ubuntu is not with the various nuclei procressador i7. As the old computer has two theads, perhaps the problem is likely to give less. On the new computer, are 8 theads. Does this have anything to do? I'm asking because the Linux version does not have the "single thead"

Hug!
