Linphone Android 1.3.1 crashes at start-up

Dear all
I've just updated Linphone on Android to version 1.3.1 and it reliably
crashes at start-up with 'Force close' message. Using SE Xperia X10 with
Android 2.1. Is this normal?

Regards
Liviu

Maybe you have some logs?

Sure. How do I obtain them?

First you need to activate verbose logs in Linphone preferences on your
mobile phone.

Then,

If you have the android development environment installed you just need
to type "adb logcat" on the console.

Alternatively you can install and use the alogcat application.

Another method is to go to the about page just after the crash and
click "report bug". This method sometime fails.

Thank you for the logs sent off-list, it lead me to the root of the
issue. It is a regression due to the use of a method that didn't exist
yet on Android 2.1.

I will update you as soon as I have a fix.

Cheers,

Guillaume

ps:
If you have the possibility, I advice that you update your phone to a
newer version of Android.

This sounds great. Thanks a lot.

I've been meaning to upgrade to 2.3, especially since 2.1 is quite very
slow. I'll likely do it this summer.

Re: Linphone Android 1.3.1 crashes at start-up

Hello Linphone,

I seem to be getting "ALL" your emails? All your Conversations and Replies are coming to my email. It started last week when I opened a ticket with you for a problem I am having with Linphone.

But instead of getting a reply from you on fixing my problem, I am getting all your emails fixing everyone else's problems?

Thought I would let you know.

By the way, any chance of someone fixing my problem?

I loaded Linphone for Blackberry 7 onto my Bold 9900 and it starts to open then crashes with an error:

Initialization failure caused by: Cannot listen port for [25.30.219.71:5060]
reason [Tunnel failed] causedby [java.io.IOException Tunnel failed]

Please can someone help me with this problem. And hopefully you can also find
out why I am getting all of your email conversations?

Thank you.
