Sorry for the late response in that thread...

Why not creating a callback during the connection do get info about the trust? Developers could also block
the thread for showing the model view (runModalForTrust) and probably continue or cancel the connection.
Shouldn't we rename CURLINFO_SSL_TRUST to CURLINFO_DARWINSSL_TRUST because this will response only
mac/ios/darwin relevant c structures (SecTrustRef).
