JSON feed - unread and notes do not show up

hi!
looks like that the JSON feed with a request for a specific tag
excludes posts marked "unread" and the notes, even if they have the
tag and they show up properly on pinboard.in

more precisely, there is no consistency between the result of this
JSON request
http://feeds.pinboard.in/json/v1/u:username/t:tagname
and what shows up on
http://pinboard.in/u:username/t:tagname

am I missing something? is there an option to force these item to come
out in the feed?
