[Sigia-l] TAD-Digital New York saying hello!

Hello all,

I wanted to just take a second to say hello. I have been lucky enough to be a part of the London UX community for a
number of years now, helping practitioners to manage their careers, know their options within the
marketplace, and how to get to where they want to be, as well as helping companies of all shapes and sizes
structure and populate their UX teams.

All of our work in London has been born out of a genuine passion and knowledge for UX. We know the difference
between a UX designer and a visual designer who has taught themselves Omnigraffle. We know the challenges
that exist for UX in an advertising agency in comparison to a big bank. We understand user experience as a
process and approach, a collection of tools and techniques, not just as outputs or documentation. We are
honest, transparent, knowledgeable, and nice (we hope).

At this point, we are looking to connect with as many people in the NYC UX community as possible, for a bit of
mutual brain picking. Anything we can do to help support the community, get involved in events, sponsor or
help organise, just let us know. I have been intimately involved in the London chapters of the IXDA, UPA,
London IA, UX Book Club etc.. for a number of years, and would love to continue this in New York.

Hopefully we will get to meet at an event very soon!
