Whats the difference from eg 1.8.2 to 1.9.1

Im still on the very great and cool spip v 1.8b2
And Im happy.
So is there anywhere I can see what "benefits" I would get out of
upgrading..
and if not, do you guys have a few words on the benefits eg, new code
etc.. that I would get out of upgrading..
kindly
Tom

Hi ladies,

You have numerous differences : the accessibility increased, new filters
(including some real amazing graphic possibilities), better rendering for
the thumbnails, new tags, automatic pagination, ajax in the admin interface,
new file organisation and plugins to name a few not to say some bug fixes.

please check here :
The upgrade and version histories.

A security fix (in 1.8.2g ie. 1.8.3)
And also the possibility to install several sites with one root install of SPIP.
And also the end of the .php3 extension
And a lot of things..

However, Spip1.9.1 is known to be slower that Spip1.8.3, so you can
just upgrade to 1.8.3 if you don't have further needs.. Or install the
version 1.9.2b4 available here
(http://files.spip.org/spip/SPIP-v1-9-2.beta-4.zip) to test plugins..
Or wait for the 1.9.2 which will come out in a few days..
